Johnson Controls is seeking a Plant Supervisor in Apodaca, Mexico to lead daily production operations, drive safety and efficiency, and mentor a production team. You will partner with multiple departments to meet targets, ensure quality, and foster continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least 5 years in manufacturing, including supervisory experience, and demonstrates strong leadership,

What will you do?

The Plant Supervisor manages daily production functions within the plant, focusing on development, management, and motivation of production personnel to increase productivity and improve efficiencies.

• Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing daily production operations and ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Collaborating with multiple departments to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Supervising and mentoring team members, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
• Analyzing production data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Take ownership of production outcomes by ensuring schedules and quality standards are consistently met, maintaining accountability and integrity in all actions.
• Address operational challenges proactively by focusing on the key aspects of the production process, ensuring smooth workflows and removing obstacles for your team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through regular evaluations and collaborative problem-solving, fostering an environment of innovation and progress.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture that values diverse perspectives and builds trust, ensuring all team members contribute towards shared success.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, production management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
