TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a seasoned production supervisor for night shifts in multiple Tecate plants. You will supervise a ~15-person team with growth potential, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.

The role requires autonomous decision-making, strong leadership, and experience across molding processes and electronics manufacturing. Advanced English proficiency is essential, as is familiarity with SAP (preferred) and quality systems like ISO 9001 / AS9100.

• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Advanced English (70–90%).
• Experience with molding processes is a plus; electronics manufacturing preferred.
• ISO 9001 / AS9100 or similar quality systems knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, develop, and motivate production team to meet SQDC targets.
• Manage a team of 15 with potential growth to 30–35 reports.
• Make independent operational decisions during night shift (after 11:00 pm).
• Ensure execution of production plans and performance metrics (pieces/hour, headcount, efficiency, scrap).
• Maintain process control through standard work and operational tools.
• Coordinate shift handoffs to ensure continuity.
• Handle timekeeping, payroll review, vacations, permits, disciplinary actions.

Monitors production processes on the quantity and quality of products in accordance with operation regulations, safety principles, and production goals.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and motivate the production team to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets
• Manage a team of approximately 15 employees, with growth potential to 30–35 direct and indirect reports
• Make independent operational decisions during the night shift (after 11:00 pm) without direct management support
• Ensure execution of production plans and performance metrics (pieces/hour, headcount, efficiency, scrap)
• Maintain process control through standard work and operational tools
• Coordinate shift handoffs to ensure operational continuity
• Manage employee-related processes: timekeeping, payroll review, vacations, permits, and disciplinary actions (System 3)
• Ensure proper documentation, scrap reporting, and daily job order releases
• Provide indirect support to maintenance, warehouse, and inspection teams
• Travel between up to four production plants during the shift to oversee operations
• Develop team capabilities and ensure training compliance
• Promote safety, health, and adherence to quality systems (ISO, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years in similar supervisory roles in manufacturing
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field preferred)
• Language: Advanced English (70–90%)
• Technical Experience:
  • Molding basic processes
  • Electronics manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Systems: SAP (preferred), System TRESS (preferred)
• Certifications: Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 or similar quality systems (preferred)
