Varel Energy Solutions in Matamoros, Tamaulipas is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate operators and production work leaders to meet production volume, quality, safety and cost targets.

The role requires leading a team, applying Lean Manufacturing concepts, and conducting start-up meetings with operators, while documenting incidents for HR and ensuring smooth shift changes.

Formación

• Technical or Professional qualification is required.
• 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Address production problems by coordinating support from service areas.
• Supervise and guide the team leader.
• Know and apply Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Conduct start-up meetings with operators.
• Capture incidents affecting workers' pay and deliver docs to HR.
• Ensure efficient and consistent shift changes.
• Investigate and correct quality problems.
• Keep areas clean and organized.
• Develop projects for continuous improvement.
• Monitor and audit staff operations.
• Manage assigned responsibilities independently.

Summary:

VES is looking for an Production Supervisorto join our team in our Matamoros,Tamaulipas location. This person will coordinate the activities of a group of operators and production work leaders to achieve the established standards of production volume, quality, safety and costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Address production problems by coordinating the necessary support from the service areas.
• Supervise and guidethe team leader.
• Know and apply Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Conduct start-up meetings with operators.
• Responsible for performing administrative functions such as capturing incidents that affect the payment of the workers in their charge and delivering documentation to the Human Resources department.
• Ensure efficient and consistent shift changes.
• Investigate and correct quality problems.
• Keep their areas clean and organized.
• Develop Projects for continuous improvement.
• Monitor/audit/ the operation of your staff.
• Manage assigned responsabilities independently.

Education and/or Experience:

• Technical or Professional.
• 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
