ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent for our facility in Tijuana, Mexico. You will direct production operations to meet schedules and quality standards, while safeguarding safety and efficiency.

You will lead supervisors and staff, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize output and resources. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing, demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience,

Responsabilités

• Lead production operations to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery dates.
• Manage and develop a team of supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, delivery, and resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and procedures.
• Implement and track continuous improvement projects targeting waste reduction and process optimization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, and Logistics for operational continuity.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks affecting production capacity.
• Participate in planning resources, installed capacity, and growth strategies.
• Lead investigation and resolution of operational issues using root cause analysis.

Are you an experienced Production Superintendent within the manufacturing and production arena Do you lay awake thinking of ways that you and your team can drive efficiency, quality, and safety? Do you have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, possess excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement? If you answered yes to these questions, we should talk! Our Facility located in Tijuana; Mexico is looking to add a Production Superintendent to the Team. What would you do as our Production Superintendent? Plan, direct, and control production operations, ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules and standards for quality, safety, costs, and productivity, while guaranteeing the efficient use of human, material, and equipment resources to meet customer requirements and the organization's strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Lead production operations to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery dates.
• Manage and develop a team of supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, delivery compliance, and resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and operating procedures.
• Implement and track continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and process optimization.
• Coordinate efforts with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, and Logistics departments to ensure operational continuity.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks affecting production capacity.
• Participate in planning resources, installed capacity, and operational growth strategies.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of operational issues using root cause analysis tools.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including experience managing teams and achieving objectives through them.
• Proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects under tight deadlines.
