Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Tijuana, Mexico, is seeking a seasoned Production Superintendent to lead manufacturing operations, ensure schedules, quality, safety and productivity, and drive continuous improvement across lean initiatives.

You will manage supervisors and frontline staff, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance and Logistics, and relentlessly remove bottlenecks to meet customer requirements and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading teams in manufacturing environments.
• Strong Lean manufacturing background and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

# Production SuperintendentAre you an experienced Production Superintendent within the manufacturing and production arena Do you lay awake thinking of ways that you and your team can drive efficiency, quality, and safety? Do you have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, possess excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement? If you answered yes to these questions, we should talk!Our Facility located in Tijuana; Mexico is looking to add a Production Superintendent to the Team.**What would you do as our Production Superintendent?**Plan, direct, and control production operations, ensuring adherence to manufacturing schedules and standards for quality, safety, costs, and productivity, while guaranteeing the efficient use of human, material, and equipment resources to meet customer requirements and the organization's strategic objectives.**Essential Duties and Tasks*** Lead production operations to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery dates.* Manage and develop a team of supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.* Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, scrap, rework, delivery compliance, and resource utilization.* Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and operating procedures.* Implement and track continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and process optimization.* Coordinate efforts with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, and Logistics departments to ensure operational continuity.* Identify and eliminate bottlenecks affecting production capacity.* Participate in planning resources, installed capacity, and operational growth strategies.* Lead the investigation and resolution of operational issues using root cause analysis tools.* Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental policies.**Qualifications, Education and Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing.* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including experience managing teams and achieving objectives through them.* Proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies.* Excellent communication and time management skills.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects under tight deadlines.**We are the ASSA ABLOY Group** Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
