ABB seeks an experienced engineer to optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in line with quality, efficiency, cost and safety goals. You will define working phase sequences for new processes to achieve target costs and required equipment investment budgets.

The role is onsite in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco, reporting to Production Engineering Manager, with responsibilities spanning process improvement, design approval, and start-up support.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years in winding processes for electric motors.
• Experience with automated systems (PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Knowledge of KPI metrics (OEE, MTTR, MTTF).
• English fluency; Spanish communication skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and implement improvement projects with cost, quality and timing focus.
• Validate process designs and perform final tests for projects.
• Support production during start-up of new processes/equipment.
• Evaluate new technologies to boost productivity and reduce costs.
