Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Operations Leader to coordinate and optimize production operations in a fast-paced environment in Mexico. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while leading a value stream with a Lean mindset.

You will empower teams of supervisors and operators, deploy Lean tools, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, and Purchasing to meet customer requirements. Experience in ERP and process improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with EHS standards, quality requirements, and internal procedures.
• Monitor KPIs: safety, scrap, OEE, productivity, efficiency, on-time delivery, costs, and absenteeism.
• Lead teams of supervisors, cell leaders, and operators; allocate resources and establish priorities.
• Manage end-to-end value stream, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Implement Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, visual management, SMED, Kanban, and structured problem-solving.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, and Purchasing to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in development of operating budget and manage manufacturing costs.
• Drive employee training, cross-training, performance, and engagement.
• Prepare and lead daily operations meetings, communicating results, risks, and action plans.
