Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Mexico seeks an Operations Leader to coordinate production and lead a value stream with Lean methods. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while mentoring supervisors, cell leaders, and operators to improve throughput.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations, a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred), and solid English. ERP experience and adherence to ISO 9001 are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations roles.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience using ERP systems, interpreting production metrics, and applying industrial safety practices and/or quality standards such as ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with EHS standards, quality requirements, and internal procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including safety, scrap, OEE, productivity, efficiency, on-time delivery, costs, and absenteeism.
• Lead teams of supervisors, cell leaders, and operators; allocate resources and establish operational priorities.
• Manage the end-to-end value stream, identifying bottlenecks, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
• Implement Lean tools and methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, standardized work, visual management, SMED, Kanban, and structured problem-solving.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, and Purchasing to meet customer requirements.
• Analyze process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in the development of the operating budget and manage manufacturing costs.
• Drive employee training, cross-training, performance, and engagement.
• Prepare and lead daily operations meetings, communicating results, risks, and action plans.
