Jabil in Mexico is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and optimize shop floor execution. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong English communication in a global environment.

Responsibilities include developing data-driven improvements, standardizing work, and ensuring safety, quality, and delivery KPIs across high-volume production teams.

Formación

• Proven experience leading production operations within manufacturing environments (PM/Operations Manager/Supervisor).
• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS/ SMT) or Automotive industries.
• Strong knowledge of production management, workforce planning, and shop floor execution.
• Experience implementing 5S, LPAs, and Standardized Work.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence through CI initiatives.
• Strong leadership with hands-on problem solving and team development.
• Experience with KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Advanced English communication skills for collaboration in a global environment.

• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
• Assess the adequacy of data gathering methods utilized by the workcells.
• Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
• Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in field.”
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
• Periodically “get down in the trenches” to rehabilitate troubled workcells or to help during product launch. Foster a “back to basics” mentality during these times. Lead by example; “Walk the talk.”
• Establish new measurement systems if/where appropriate.
• Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
• Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Quality).
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production operations within manufacturing environments as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, Superintendent, or Production Supervisor.
• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (SMT) or the Automotive Industry.
• Strong knowledge of production management, workforce planning, and shop floor execution.
• Experience implementing and sustaining 5S, Layered Process Audits (LPAs), and Standardized Work.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach to problem solving and team development.
• Experience managing performance through operational KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Advanced English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Background in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven success leading supervisors, team leaders, and cross-functional production teams.
• Experience supporting customer-focused manufacturing environments with demanding operational metrics.
