Industrias SL, S.A. de C.V. in Mexicali, Baja California, seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations in a high-volume electronics environment.

You will oversee production, quality, safety, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and customer satisfaction. The role requires a strong Lean background, KPI stewardship, and experience with EMS/PCB assembly.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's Degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience within the electronics industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large manufacturing operations.
• Experience in EMS, PCB Assembly, SMT, Box Build, or High-Tech Manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership of large teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production lines and departments.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and customer requirements.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational performance.
• Oversee production planning and execution to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Optimize labor utilization, equipment efficiency, and manufacturing capacity.
• Manage production readiness for new product introductions (NPI) and production transfers.
• Identify and remove operational bottlenecks to improve throughput and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Partner with Quality teams to improve First Pass Yield (FPY), reduce defects, and minimize customer complaints.
• Lead investigations and corrective actions for operational and quality issues.
• Promote a culture of quality and accountability throughout the organization.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and HR teams to support business objectives.
• Support strategic initiatives including factory expansions, automation projects, and digital transformation efforts.

Senior Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all manufacturing operations within a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment. This position ensures operational excellence through effective management of production, quality, safety, cost control, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
