OmniOn Power is seeking a Production Business Program Manager – Strategic Business to lead the plant-side execution of a major new program in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

You will coordinate across Operations, Materials/Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Facilities, and HR to ensure launch, ramp-up, and sustained production.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, operations, program management, engineering, supply chain, or related functions.
• Advanced English/Spanish communication skills preferred for international interaction.
• Proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience with capacity planning, production ramp‑up, NPI, and manufacturing readiness.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary plant point of contact for the Business Unit Leaders supporting the new business.
• Translate Business Unit requirements, forecasts, customer commitments, and strategic objectives into plant execution plans.
• Ensure alignment between business demand and plant capacity, resources, materials, equipment, technology, and infrastructure.
• Lead cross-functional program meetings and follow-up on action items; identify delays and constraints.
• Coordinate capacity planning based on BU forecasts and customer demand; develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Materials to ensure material availability and supplier alignment.
• Coordinate with NPI to introduce new products according to BU requirements and ramp-up.
• Identify capital requirements for equipment, tooling, facilities, automation, test equipment; monitor budgets.

Educación

The Production Business Program Manager – Strategic Business is responsible for leading the plant-side execution and integration of a major new business program that will contribute with the next year business growth.

This position serves as the primary interface between the Manufacturing Plant and the Business Unit Leaders, ensuring that business requirements, customer commitments, product roadmaps, capacity plans, investment requirements, material strategies, and operational objectives are effectively translated into executable plant plans.

The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional activities across Operations, Materials/Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Facilities, and Human Resources to ensure the plant is fully prepared to support the successful launch, ramp-up, and sustained production of the new business.

The position is accountable for maintaining overall program alignment, identifying risks and constraints, driving cross-functional actions, and escalating issues that could impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Capacity, or Customer commitments.

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will be based in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary plant point of contact for the Business Unit Leaders supporting the new business.

• Ensure alignment between business demand and plant capacity, resources, materials, equipment, technology, and infrastructure
• Lead cross-functional program meetings and ensure effective follow-up of action items and identify delays, conflicts, resource constraints, and other program risks before they impact execution.
• Coordinate capacity planning based on Business Unit forecasts and customer demand and lead capacity gap assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Materials teams to ensure material availability supports the business ramp, verify that supplier capacity and material lead times are aligned with the program schedule and identify long-lead materials and establish appropriate risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with the NPI organization to ensure new products are introduced according to Business Unit requirements, coordinate engineering builds, pilot runs, validation builds, and production ramp-up.
• Identify capital requirements for equipment, tooling, facilities, automation, test equipment, and infrastructure, partner with Finance to establish and monitor program financial objectives, Track capital spending against approved budgets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, program management, engineering, supply chain, or related functions.
• Advanced English/Spanish communication skills preferred for interaction with international Business Unit and corporate teams.
• Proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience working directly with business units, customers, or senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes.
• Experience with capacity planning, production ramp-up, NPI, and manufacturing readiness.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Experience managing capital projects and significant business investments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
