Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Product Quality Engineer II to strengthen reliability and quality control across products. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement world‑class systems and drive proactive quality initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, RCCA, and UPPAP methodologies.

The role involves risk assessment in product development, PPAP acceptance, and ongoing process improvements while working in a global environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is required.
• GD&T knowledge is required.
• Proficient English is required.

Responsibilities

• Modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.
• Explain testing plans, methods and technologies to ensure reliability and conformance.
• Analyze nonconformities and propose corrective actions for products & processes.
