Johnson Controls, Inc. in Monterrey is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead SCRUM teams. You will interface with Product Management, UX, and Development to turn requirements into user stories and manage IT investments with country scope.

You will prioritize backlogs, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide release planning across multiple teams while aligning with business value and customer needs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interviewing and questioning skills.
• Interpersonal skills to engage varied audiences and drive results.
• Ability to quickly grasp products, business, customers and users.
• Ability to handle unclear problems and define business value.
• Experience creating collateral and artifacts for Product Development teams.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional global product teams.
• 8+ years in a technology-related field with product management exposure.
• Willingness to work early hours to accommodate international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Turn prioritized requirements into planned user stories and plan release timing.
• Negotiate steps toward a successful release point.
• Prioritize SCRUM team backlog and manage changes.
• Maintain product/feature backlog and sprint forecasts.
• Identify priority vs speed-to-market and resolve conflicts.
• Identify and mitigate risks; resolve issues.
• Negotiate non-functional requirements and technical debt.
• Coordinate with SCRUM Master on dependencies and delivery.
• Motivate the team with clear goals and value delivery.
• Defend the SCRUM team and remove impediments.
• Engage with SCRUM ceremonies and ensure stakeholder engagement.
