Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead APQP activities for pressure vessel programs. You will collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability, cost targets, and regulatory compliance.

You will drive ECN planning, manage product changes, and deliver robust documentation and design reviews on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, ECN processes, and DFMEA/PFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities and manage ECN planning across product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop manufacturable, cost-effective pressure vessel designs.
• Assess manufacturability, risk, and cost impacts of changes.
• Maintain engineering documentation: drawings, 3D models, BOMs, specs.
