BorgWarner in Torreón, Mexico seeks an Electronics/Mechanical engineer with automotive experience to lead engineering change requests, reviews, and cross-functional communication with customers. You will update BOMs, product drawings, DFMEA, and validation plans while coordinating prototype builds and plant support.

The role requires a degree in electronics, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering, fluency in English, and solid knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T, CAD, and IATF processes.

• Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Electromechanically.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Candidates should be proficient with DFMEA, GD&T, CAD tools and IATF processes.

Mansioni

• Submit and follow up Engineering Change Requests (CR) and Change Notifications (CN).
• Review Customer Technical Requirements and communicate findings.
• Update BOMs and release BOM changes.
• Update and release product drawings.
• Update and release DFMEA.
• Coordinate validation tests and report results.
• Coordinate prototype builds with plant teams and production.
• Provide production plant technical support.

Submit and/or follow up Engineering Change Request (CR)/ Change Notification (CN) Customer Technical Requirements review Customer communication/report Bill of Materials (BOM) update and release Product Drawings update and release DFMEA update and release Engineering test specifications update and release Quote prototype samples to customers Conduct, coordinate and report validation tests together with product laboratories Perform and report problem solving according to the product line needs Conduct and coordinate prototype builds in plant together with prototype/production teams IMDS Submission Production plant technical support Design changes Technical Review

Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Electromechanically

Experience in the automotive industry
