Job summary

Flex Ltd is seeking a Product Engineer for the Guadalajara, North Campus to receive, evaluate, clean, and customize customer technical information for products. You’ll help with product transfer, new setups, and process improvements while coordinating with design teams and customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks), and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in BOM processes and product stages.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with direct client interaction as a strategic partner.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Define product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
• Strong experience in mechanical/product design.

Responsibilities

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
• Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues.
• Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products.
• Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production.
• Functional Product Documentation review.
• Safety Requirements and regulations compliance identification.
• Engineering Drawings Interpretation of parts and assemblies.
• Request customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, measurements methods.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Product Engineer the Product Engineer will be responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information /documentation from the customer related to their product.

What a typical day looks like:

• Handle product transfer and new product set up.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bahelor’s degree; Mechatronics, Industrial Engineer or related field.
• Experience in similar role with involvement in BOM’s processes and product stages.
• English advanced fluency.
• Experience having direct contact with clients serving as strategic partner.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Define product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and materials.
• Strong experience in mechanical/product design.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks/ Flex Flow.
