Schneider Electric in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Product Cost Leader to drive cost estimation for new product development and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing and Finance to build robust cost models.

You will analyze designs and processes to meet cost targets, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate forecasts and assumptions to cross-functional stakeholders, enabling informed strategic decisions.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or Finance/Accounting with product costing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrialization, product costing, cost engineering, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of product costing methodologies, manufacturing processes, and supply chain concepts.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% as required.

  • Prepare and communicate cost forecasts, assumptions, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

We are looking for a Product Cost Leader to join our team and play a key role in the development of new products. In this position, you will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and Finance teams to build accurate product cost estimates, identify cost optimization opportunities, and support strategic decisions that drive product competitiveness and profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a background in product costing, manufacturing, industrialization, or engineering who enjoy working in a highly collaborative and global environment

What will you do?
  • Lead product cost estimation activities for new product development projects.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, and Finance teams to build accurate cost models.
  • Analyze product designs, manufacturing processes, and cost drivers to achieve product cost targets.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and support strategic decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare and communicate cost forecasts, assumptions, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or Finance/Accounting with experience in product costing.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrialization, product costing, cost engineering, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of product costing methodologies, manufacturing processes, and supply chain concepts.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Availability to travel 10-20% as required.
