The Category owner is responsible for ensuring the sourcing strategy plan and evolution for Facilities building maintenance categories in Mexico. These categories includes New Construction-Labor, Plants Building Maintenance, Electrical Services, Elevator Services, Fire Protect Equip Svcs, Flooring Services, HVAC & Refrig Svcs, Painting Services, Welding Services, Gates Services, Furniture & Civil work.
This role will be supported by the MAKE MSO strategy to act as a change agent, transforming the category into a regional strategic function. Responsibilities include identifying white-space subcategories, ensuring compliance with regulations,and establishing processes and policies to enhance the delivery of business objectives.
Functional knowledge: +4 years in category management / sourcing processes on procurement roles.
Desirable experience in Procurement Indirects or FAC category, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
Strong analytical and financial skills; solid understanding of general business economics, key cost, and quality drivers.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships in cross-functional teams and influence across a matrix organization.
Ability to translate complex situations into simple messages for executive-level communication.
Results and action-oriented: Comfortable with change, setting and achieving stretch targets.
