Job summary

ABB in Juárez, NL is seeking a Procurement professional to ensure the execution, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities in the Procurement function. You will also drive supplier performance and develop local sourcing strategies to meet business needs.

You will monitor KPIs, resolve cost and delivery issues, and apply procurement standards while collaborating with global teams. This role is onsite in Juárez, NL and emphasizes negotiation and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, international trade, Engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience with commodities such as plastic and negotiating with international suppliers.
• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of incoterms and trade policy.
• Strong negotiation, problem solving and communication skills with suppliers across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities in the Procurement function.
• Track internal and supplier KPIs, quality issues, and implement related development actions.
• Resolve procurement cost, quality, and delivery issues in the assigned area.
• Apply and implement procurement standards, tools, and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
• Support the Procurement Manager in implementing local sourcing strategies aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate across global and cross functional teams to improve supplier performance.
