ABB is seeking a Category Manager to own purchasing and logistics activities within the Procurement function. You will execute strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and ensure reliable supplier performance, while developing local sourcing plans aligned with business targets.

The role emphasizes SAP management, advanced English communication, and leadership skills in an on-site environment in San Luis Potosí.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or related).
• At least one year of professional experience in procurement or related fields.
• Desirable SAP experience and strong Excel/Power BI skills.
• Advanced English communications and leadership capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and products.
• Designing and implementing plans and local sourcing strategies to meet targets.
• Supporting effective local sourcing aligned with business strategy.
• Applying procurement standards, tools, and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
