Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Procurement Operations professional in Monterrey to support buyers, manage PSRT tasks, and ensure smooth transaction flows. The role involves handling e-RFx, e-auction processes, PO and invoice issues, and supplier communications, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s in business or related field, 4+ years of procurement experience, advanced English, and strong data-analytic and MS 365 skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in similar procurement roles.
• Advanced English.
• Analytical skills including data management and analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication, proactive mindset, customer service, decision making and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Daily support with procurement buyers handling PSRT transactional tasks and policy adherence.
• Assist with e-RFx, e-auction, PO issues, invoice issues, and supplier communication.
• Provide transactional work including acknowledgements, voucher approvals, change orders, and requisitions.
• Assist buyers on special requests and expedite emergency orders.
• Request and review supplier documents in Ariba (NDA, COI); training for Ariba and supplier setups.
• Manage PO creation, updates, and invoice/payment issue resolution.
