Corning Inc. in Monterrey is seeking an IT Sourcing Analyst to join the Global Sourcing team.

You will support end-to-end sourcing across software, hardware, telecom, and cloud services, aligning with internal stakeholders and ensuring compliant, cost-effective procurement processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years in procurement, with strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain.
• Basic understanding of sourcing processes, contract lifecycle, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Temporary 6 month contract.

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

We are looking for an IT Sourcing Analyst to join our Global Sourcing team in Monterrey (Obispado). This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with experience in procurement or vendor management who wants to deepen their exposure to IT sourcing across software, hardware, telecom, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
