Plexus Corp. is seeking an entry-level procurement associate to train in handling the procurement execution of materials and services aligned with quality, delivery, and pricing targets. You will learn to process purchase orders, manage deliveries, and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes data integrity, use of automation tools, and adherence to SOPs and WI's while supporting production schedules and supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and problem solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Purchasing materials in accordance with Plexus guidelines, AVL adherence, unit price, quality and delivery.
• Make tactical buying decisions with respect to placement and management of all purchase orders.
• Manage order placement, rescheduling and cancellations, and resolve non-conforming material and invoice queries.
• Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate materials to meet production plans.
• Initiate corrective actions and escalate to avoid impacting the production schedule.
• Collaboratively manage procurement automation processes to optimize data integrity and efficiency.
• Decide when to leverage automation vs. exceptions in overall execution.
