CONFIDENCIAL in Mexico is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage procurement and planning activities in SAP. The role will develop short- and long-term supply plans, create purchase orders, and update delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory levels.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of direct materials purchasing experience for production, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and English at B2 level or higher.

• Experience: 2-3 years purchasing direct materials for production (electronics, plastics, metals, packaging).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related fields.
• English: intermediate to advanced level (B2 minimum).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver service levels and inventory according to objectives.
• Develop short- and long-term supply plans in SAP.
• Create Purchase Orders.
• Update Delivery Schedules and Delivery Dates in SAP.
• Track shipments.
• Manage planning parameters and master data for planning elements in SAP.
• Resolve supplier billing/payment issues.
• Design/Improve processes, systems, reports, and necessary KPIs.
• Continuously refine and eliminate waste in supply chain activities, reducing lead time and inventory while improving service.

• Track shipments.
• Manage planning parameters and master data for planning elements in SAP.
• Resolve supplier billing/payment issues.
• Order confirmation.
• Design/Improve processes, systems, reports, and necessary KPIs.
• Other tasks that support the overall supply planning function as needed.
• Continuously refine and eliminate waste in supply chain activities, reducing lead time and inventory while improving service.
• Make strategic recommendations for improved processes such as new production introduction, order and supplier management, and inventory management.
• Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
• Recommend and activate strategies for the disposal of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Identify and resolve conflicts related to material availability.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years purchasing direct materials for production, including electronics, plastics, metals, and packaging.
