Sensata in Mexico seeks a Process Technician to provide technical support to engineers, driving improvements in cycle times, performance, cost, quality, and safety across production processes.

The role involves creating process documentation, supporting advanced quality planning, qualifying new equipment, and preparing data-driven reports while collaborating across functions to resolve deviations and drive improvements.

Formación

• Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Creates process documentation including work instructions and route sheets for samples.
• Assists on advanced quality planning documentation as needed.
• Assists in qualification of new production equipment.
• Prepares reports using metrics from monitoring data and trends.
• Supports analysis of deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
• Assists in improvement projects and product analysis on defective material to find root causes.

The Process Technician provides technical support to engineers to achieve improvements in processes, in aspects such as: cycle times, performance, unit cost, quality and safety in accordance with operational and production processes.

General Responsibilities

• Creates process documentation including work instructions visual aids and route sheets for samples.
• Assists on advanced quality planning documentation as needed
• Assists in the qualification of new production equipment.
• Prepares reports using metrics obtained from monitoring using raw data, trends, and other reports
• Supports with the analysis of deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
• Assists in improvement projects.
• Participates on product analysis on defective material to find root cause of the problem.

Experience / Qualifications

• Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs ("Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel")
