ZF LIFETEC in Chihuahua, MX, is seeking a Process Manufacturing Engineer/Expert to manage quotations for new products and engineering changes, oversee equipment expenses, and develop new processes. You will create documentation for new equipment and processes (manufacturing instructions, visual aids, checklists) while pursuing profitability and continuous improvement across the product life cycle.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical/electro-mechanical/mechatronic/automation field with strong analytical ability.
• Experience in automation, process development, and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of production line tooling and KPI tracking a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in projects, engineering changes or improvements.
• Strong knowledge in Automatization, integrators communication and developing new processes.
• Update and maintain equipment KPI's and line capacity analysis.
• Coordinate with customer & sales for capacity and process requirements.
• Support other departments with data to improve processes.
• Ensure projects stay on time and financially healthy per milestones.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Document production lines and core tooling.

JOB SUMMARY

Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible to manage quotations of new products and engineering changes, equipment expenses, develop of new processes, creation of documentation of new equipment / process (manufacturing instructions, visual aids, checklist, etc…).Maintain goals of profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products throughout their life cycle.

Your Tasks

• Participate during the process of new projects, engineering changes or improvements needed.
• Strong knowledge in Automatization, integrators communication and developing new processes.
• Responsible to update and maintain equipment KPI's.
• Strong knowledge in line capacity analysis and communication with customer & sales department.
• Support other departments developing a solid process and data to support process improvement through the organization.
• Keep projects on time and financially healthy, according to the milestones, with constant communication with corporate team.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Knowledge in core tools for production lines documentation.

Your Profile

• Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Mechatronic Engineer, Automation Engineer or any other career with strong analytical ability required.
• Understanding of broad range of industrial engineering tools (ie. Work measurement, simulation, process mapping, facilities and workstation design, operations research, etc.)
• Able to develop process improvements using design of experiments.
• Knowledge on sensors, cameras, PLC's.
• Knowledge on pneumatic & hydraulic cylinders, electrical devices (servo motor & index motor).
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-managed and Self-motivated to achieve results.
• Knowledge in processes balancing of production lines.
