Job summary

Flex Guadalajara is seeking a Process Engineer to supervise SMT processes and lead a technical team in meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, you will optimize process programs, set up machine configurations, and develop work instructions.

You should have a degree in engineering and hands-on SMT experience, with knowledge of SPI, stencil printing, pick-and-place, and reflow, plus lean and Kaizen experience to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in SMT manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of SMT processes, including SPI, stencil printing, pick-and-place, reflow, and assembly operations.
• Knowledge of process capability analysis (CPK) and statistical process control concepts.
• Experience creating work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen).
• Ability to work effectively with technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams.
