Flex, the diversified manufacturing partner, seeks a Process Engineer for Guadalajara North to join our production teams. You will support great products and growth by driving process improvements and capital equipment initiatives.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, you will establish robust processes, lead cost-improvement programs, and collaborate with production personnel to raise efficiency and quality.

Formación

• Advanced English required.
• Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• Review processing methods and improve workflows.
• Experience working with teams and cross-functional partners.
• Assist in development of training and provide training to production personnel.
• Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required.
• Lead cost improvement/reduction programs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production and commissioning.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Troubleshoot process related issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Participate in cycle time and process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and select materials for manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and select semi-automated and automated machines to enhance processes.
• Apply statistical process control to new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Support audits and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with customers and address countermeasures for complaints.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, the Process Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
• Trouble shoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Evaluate and select semi automate and automate machines to improve the process.
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements.
• Experience in attention in audits.
• Experience with Customer Service and countermeasures and analysis of customer complaints.
• Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in repair procedures
