Forvia in San Luis Potosí is seeking a process engineer to develop and optimize the manufacturing processes and equipment for new projects, while supporting continuous improvement and production.

The role focuses on designing and installing tooling, validating cycle times, ensuring manufacturability, and contributing to PFMEA and PFMEA analyses. Strong automation and English skills are required.

Formación

• Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in automotive and metalmechanic industry, preferably seating structures.
• Experience as manufacturing or process engineer in assembly and welding (arc, laser, resistance).
• Knowledge of automation with Siemens, KUKA/ABB robots and LabVIEW.
• Fluent and conversational English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, install and debug tools and equipment for manufacturing processes.
• Support cycle time calculation and validate after installation of process equipment (MTM).
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility and participate in PFMEA and FMEA.
• Suggest technologies for the manufacturing process.
• Define cycle time in line with takt time and standard operations.
• Incorporate ergonomics in product design.
• Establish manufacturing routines and release process documents.
• Support plant layout analysis and prepare spec books for tooling quotations.
• Consolidate machinery documentation to deliver to plant.
