Flex Guadalajara is hiring a Process Engineer to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities. You will define and implement manufacturability improvements, lead process control development, and support new technology transfers in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams to drive cost reduction and efficiency, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (internships, co-ops, or entry-level engineering acceptable).
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Understanding of SPC and process monitoring tools.

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Process engineer** located on **Flex Guadalajara**.Reporting to the **Director, Process Engineering**the **Process engineer** this role is In charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.**What a typical day looks like:*** Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.* Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.* Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.* High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.* Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.* Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.* Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).* Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.* Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.* Trouble shoot process related issues.* Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.* Evaluate and select various engineered materials.* Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.* Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements.* Improve manufacturing techniques and through put.* Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.* Develop and maintain process documentation.* Review processing methods.* Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.* Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.* Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.* Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.* Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.* Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.* Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.* Guide cost improvement/reduction programs. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.* Experience in a manufacturing environment (internships, co-ops, or entry-level engineering experience may be considered).* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and process improvement methodologies.* Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.* Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process monitoring tools.* Ability to analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement.* Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) or process transfers is a plus.* Basic knowledge of engineering change processes (ECO/ECR).* Ability to develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and engineering data analysis tools.* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.* English proficiency (written and verbal). **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.
