Flex in Guadalajara North Campus is seeking a Process Engineer to support PCBA and mechanical assembly processes, drive cost and quality improvements, and enable smooth transfer of new technologies to production. The role reports to the Director, Operations and requires collaboration with OEMs and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has full engineering experience in electronics, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and strong skills in FMEA, DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Experience in electronic industry, specifically process engineering.
• Experience with PCBA and mechanical assembly.
• Professional English communication (intermediate - advanced).
• Ability to edit reports and communicate with OEMs.
• Familiarity with FMEA, DOE, and SPC methodologies.
• Proficient in applying statistical methods for analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee PCBA and mechanical assembly process control and improvement.
• Lead new product introduction, ramp-up, and material issue handling.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Director, Operations.The Process Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North Campus. Will be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• PCBA and Mechanical assembly process control and improvement;
• New product introduction and ramp up, and material issue handling;
• Customer and internal communication;
• Evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability;
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters;
• Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements;
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials;
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products;
• Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities;
• Develop manufacturing documents and review processing methods;
• Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer;
• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.

Experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Full engineer experience in electronic industry (Process engineering).
• Bachelor or above degree.
• Experience in PCBA and mechanical assembly.
• Intermediate - Advanced English communication.
• good at report editing capability.
• Have good communication skill with OEM customer.
• Familiar with FMEA, DOE, SPC application knowledge.
• Can use statistic method to analysis.
