Essity in Ecatepec de Morelos is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize production processes through SPC, root cause analysis, and enforcing operational standards. You will analyze existing processes, reduce waste, and improve yields while ensuring product quality across the line.

You will train operators, help develop new processes, and ensure QMS alignment. Strong Excel, SAP and Power BI skills, plus English communication, are desired for this role.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in FMCG manufacturing.
• Conversational English required.
• Strong statistical knowledge.
• Experience with TPM, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA and SMED.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze production processes and develop recommendations to minimize risks, costs and waste; increase yields and productivity.
• Train and develop operators to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Define new standards and estimate time requirements for each process step and participate in new process development.
• Lead CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication) and CL systems in line with QMS.
• Collect and analyze loss-related data to develop solutions and action plans.
• Validate production floor information and data.
• Understand production line downtime and stoppages.

If this is you, we'd love to talk.## ## **About the Role**## The role is responsible for continuously optimizing production processes in a sustainable manner through Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis, and by defining and enforcing operational standards.## ## **What You Will Do*** ## Analyze existing production processes and develop recommendations for changes in methods or operational sequences that minimize risks, costs, and waste; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of finished products.* ## Responsible for training and developing operators to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.* ## Ensure adherence to product specifications and participate in the development of new production processes by defining new standards and estimating time requirements for each process step.* ## Lead the CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication) and CL systems, and ensure compliance with operating procedures, work instructions, and operational specifications supported by the Quality Management System (QMS).* ## Collect and analyze loss-related data to develop solutions and action plans.* ## Validate production floor information and data.* ## Knowledge and understanding of production line downtime and line stoppages.## ## **Who You Are**## ## Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field (required).## **Language**: Conversational English (required).## **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing industries.## **Knowledge and Skills:*** ## Strong statistical knowledge, including understanding of variables and attributes.* ## Safety and quality management.* ## Production process management.* ## Continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, SMED, and related tools.* ## Mechanical knowledge is desirable.* ## Intermediate proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI.* ## Schedule flexibility and availability.## **Competencies*** ## Proactivity (continuous learning, problem-solving, initiative, and ability to propose improvements).* ## Results-oriented mindset.* ## Strong organizational skills (task management, reporting, and documentation).* ## Logical reasoning.### ## **What We Can Offer You**## Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do.
