MSCI is seeking a Research Lead for Private Assets Index within Global Research & Development, based in Monterrey or Mexico City. You will design methodologies, own end‑to‑end projects, and transform research into practical insights for institutional investors.

You’ll collaborate across research, product, and client teams to shape future private markets solutions and publish market insights while mentoring junior researchers. This is a globally influential role with a tangible impact.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in research, investment strategy, product development, or similar roles within asset management or financial services.
• Ability to lead projects from idea to execution with minimal direction.
• Experience improving processes, methodologies, or analytical tools.
• Strong collaboration skills and cross‑functional relationship building.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and evolution of methodologies, classification frameworks, and analytical tools for private asset solutions.
• Own projects from concept to implementation, including governance approval.
• Translate research and data into practical insights for clients.
• Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to meet evolving client needs.
• Present research and product innovations to senior leadership and investors.
• Partner with clients to understand investment challenges and influence product development.
• Contribute to thought leadership through publications and market insights.
• Mentor junior researchers and foster collaboration and innovation.
