MSCI Inc. in Monterrey or Mexico City is seeking a Research Lead for Private Assets. You will design methodologies, own end-to-end projects, and transform complex research into practical insights for institutional clients.

You’ll collaborate across research, product, and commercial teams to drive innovation in private markets. The role offers exposure to senior leadership, a strong emphasis on thought leadership, and opportunities to influence global investment solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years in research, investment strategy, or product development in asset management or financial services.
• Proven ability to lead projects from idea to execution with minimal direction.
• Experience improving processes, methodologies, or analytical tools.
• Strong collaboration and cross-team relationship-building.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to simplify complex concepts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior leaders and clients.
• Hands-on experience using Python or R for data analysis and prototyping.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, investment data and industry best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and evolution of innovative methodologies and analytical tools for private asset solutions.
• Own projects from concept to implementation, including governance approval.
• Transform research and data into practical insights for clients.
• Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to meet client needs.
• Present research and product innovations to leadership and investors.
• Partner with clients to understand investment challenges and shape future products.
• Contribute to thought leadership through research publications and client content.
• Mentor junior researchers and foster collaboration and innovation.
