Collins Aerospace in Mexicali is seeking a Procurement Professional to manage indirect materials procurement through the Procure-to-Pay process, aligning purchasing with operational needs and supply chain objectives.

You will lead RFPs, supplier negotiations, PO management, and contract oversight for end-to-end procurement, with SAP and other ERP systems, ensuring compliance and cost optimization while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems (Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX, PRISM).
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract oversight.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

What You Will Do

• Execute procurement processes, including RFP preparation, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and purchase order management, to align with organizational objectives.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and timely communication.
• Manage sourcing activities to procure goods, materials, supplies, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and securing favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance, resolving issues related to delays, shortages, or quality to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Prepare and analyze price proposals, financial reports, and procurement data to support cost optimization and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems such as Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM.

• Strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience analyzing supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance, and resolving delivery issues.
• Experience with SAP (procurement functions, MRP, Business Warehouse, or Business Objects).
• Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in procurement and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, with a focus on compliance.
