Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a skilled Welder for our manufacturing operations in Torreón. The role involves welding parts and assemblies using MIG, MAG, TIG, or stick processes to meet tight deadlines and quality standards.

You will plan work from blueprints, set up welds, and ensure consistent workmanship while collaborating with machinists and other welders. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 5–7 years welding experience
• Welding experience in manufacturing or repair environments
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturers’ specifications
• Welding certificate required
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Select welding method (TIG, MIG, MAG, stick) as required
• Plan work from blueprints using shop math and measuring tools
• Set up and operate a conventional lathe for welded parts
• Identify materials and prep components accordingly
• Perform welding repairs on raw and finished parts
• Install welds based on technical drawings
• Ensure work meets specifications and quality standards
• Meet production goals for efficiency and scrap reduction
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
• Collaborate with machinists and assemblers to resolve repairs
