Qualifications

• Knowledge of power protection, backup power and the Power Quality market.
• Computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (email), and Internet.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Presales phone, chat, and email support for internal & external D-IT customers.
• Lead qualification and accurate data entry into Salesforce.
• Identify customer requirements and provide BOMs based on expectations.
• Be a technical resource for D-IT products and their applications (power quality, racks, cooling, cables & connectivity).
• Interface with internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
• Build knowledge base of D-IT products and other Eaton products to assist lead routing.
• Collaborate with team to support pipeline follow-up and group success.

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Pre-Sales Application Specialist.

What you'll do:

The Presales Application Specialist role acts as a technical resource for D-IT's channel partners and end users by providing product specifications and product application troubleshooting from the Tripplite.com website via chat, email, and phone call. The specialist will also be responsible for routing requests to the appropriate internal D-IT department when necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• A. Presales phone, chat, and email support for both internal & external D-IT customers
• B. Lead qualification and accurate data entry into salesforce.com
• C. Identify customer requirements, recognize pain points, and provide builds of material based off customer expectations
• D. Be a technical resource for D-IT products and their application which includes power quality, racks, cooling, and cables & connectivity product lines
• E. Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment
• F. Proven interpersonal skills and excellent telephone etiquette
• G. Establish a broad knowledge base of D-IT products/services and various other Eaton - products to facilitate lead qualification/routing
• H. Team player that actively contributes to the group's success
• I. Follow up on leads pipeline
