Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Mexico City seeks an experienced Design Release Engineer (DRE) for Powertrain Systems to lead lifecycle management of critical engine components from concept to production.

The DRE will serve as the technical authority for assigned components, balancing design rigor with cross-functional project management across CAD, manufacturing, quality and purchasing to ensure on-time, cost-effective launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in powertrain component release management.
• BOM ownership and ECN execution in PLM.
• Strong cross-functional coordination with CAD, manufacturing, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the component BOM and ECNs in PLM systems.
• Collaborate with CAD teams to optimize packaging and DMU reviews.
• Interface with Tier 1 suppliers; oversee APQP/PPAP milestones.
• Define DVP&R requirements and analyze test data for root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Plant Engineering during prototype builds and launches.
