Ford México is seeking a Powertrain Engineering and Quality professional to serve as the technical bridge between Quality, Product Development, and Calibration teams. You will own end-to-end solutions, resolving complex powertrain challenges across combustion and electrified vehicle architectures and leading cross-functional task forces to deliver fixes into production and service networks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of automotive problem-solving, quality engineering, systems engineering, or powertrain calibration.
• Proven experience leading root-cause investigations using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, Red X).
• Working knowledge of powertrain systems (combustion, hybrid, or electric), diagnostics, or data acquisition.
• Ability to drive results and align cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end resolution of complex powertrain controls and calibration field concerns from anomaly detection to verified corrective action.
• Coordinate cross-functional task forces to investigate root causes using structured problem-solving across hardware, software, and calibration.
• Negotiate engineering priorities with data-backed business cases to drive resource allocation and timely resolution.
• Oversee field fix rollout including software updates, calibrations, and alignment with plants, service operations, and engineering.
• Track remedy effectiveness and develop TSBs for field technicians to prevent recurrence.
