Job summary

Siemens Energy Guanajuato seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead the 350+ person power transformer manufacturing operations, overseeing Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering.

You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity through Lean methods, asset optimization, and digital manufacturing initiatives, partnering with Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Plant Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations within an industrial environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing large manufacturing organizations and multiple operational departments.
• Mandatory experience in Power Transformer Manufacturing.
• Experience leading organizations with more than 350 employees is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee manufacturing operations across Coil Assembly, Active Part Assembly, Shipping Preparation, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Shop Floor Management, standardization, waste elimination, bottleneck reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, inventory, and customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Develop capacity strategies and resource plans to support growth and productivity improvements.
• Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities including process development, industrialization, standards, tooling improvements, and digital manufacturing deployment.
