Job summary

Siemens Energy in Guanajuato is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Trainee. The role offers an entry-level development path for recent graduates with no prior professional experience required.

You will learn by analyzing transformer manufacturing processes and working with cross-functional teams to drive improvements. You will test ideas, update plant layouts, document results, and support training and release activities while staying curious and proactive in a dynamic factory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• No professional experience required; academic projects in manufacturing/process improvement are a plus.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Analytical skills; ability to work with data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze high-power transformer manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support projects focused on safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Explore and propose poka-yoke solutions to prevent quality issues.
• Perform tests and validations for proposed process changes under guidance.
• Document implemented processes and improvements; support training and release activities; present results.
• Keep drawings and plant layouts updated for the assigned area.
• Research manufacturing best practices and industry trends.
