Job summary

ENGIE México is seeking a Power Origination Leader to drive the origination, negotiation, and structuring of PPAs with market participants and other counterparties, ensuring qualified supply portfolio needs are met.

You will shape long-term commercial structures, manage hedging and risk, and collaborate with legal, asset development, and risk teams to deliver a resilient, low-carbon energy portfolio in Mexico.

Qualifications

• University degree; MBA advantageous; fields include finance, science, economics, engineering.
• 2+ years in a similar role and 5+ years total work experience.
• Strong understanding of MEM pricing trends and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close coverage contracts per business needs.
• Design long-term renewable and thermal PPAs and hedging structures.
• Maintain expert MEM knowledge and pricing/regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and portfolio teams.
