Job summary

ABB Installation Products Inc. in Mexico is seeking a technically adept Sales Support professional to back the US market in the Electrification business of the Smart Power division. The role reports to the EL Sales Support Manager - Pre-Sales and focuses on providing timely warranty support and expert technical guidance.

You will analyze customer enquiries, propose cost-effective solutions, and prepare technical descriptions for ABB's products and applications. Hybrid work model applies.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical or mechanical engineering or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years product knowledge in the design, manufacture, and application of molded case circuit breakers, transformers, residential products, lighting panels, switches, and general-purpose control products.
• High energy level, self-starter, highly analytical, and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely warranty support to ABB Sales, ABB Distributors, OEMs, Contractors, and End Users.
• Offer technical advice and provide comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB's products/systems/applications.
• Perform analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs; and propose the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.
