Job summary

Luxoft in Mexico is seeking an experienced incident and production support engineer to own the end-to-end triage of alerts and incidents. You will work across UI, backend services, APIs, and data stores, using observability tools to diagnose issues and restore services quickly.

You will collaborate with DevOps, development, QA, and vendor partners, contribute to postmortems, and help automate runbooks and self-healing processes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core, including relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong Python skills with frameworks.
• Experience with cloud ETL platforms and data integration (AWS Glue, Spark).
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Experience with SOAP, REST, and Web API.
• Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on observability and monitoring experience.
• Version control using Git.
• Willingness to learn and curiosity to explore

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid intake, triage, and prioritization of alerts, tickets, and incidents.
• Act as Incident Owner during high-severity events with clear communication.
• Maintain real-time incident timelines and post-incident docs.
• Troubleshoot and restore services across app, middleware, APIs, data, infra.
• Correlate logs, metrics, traces via observability platforms to identify issues.
• Coordinate mitigations, rollbacks, fixes, and hotfixes.
• Collaborate with Dev, DevOps, Database, Network, Security, QA, and vendors.
• Provide context, hypothesis-driven analysis, and evidence to speed fixes.
• Lead postmortems and continuous improvement actions.
• Identify application stack components per service for quick isolation.
• Maintain runbooks, service maps, dependencies to speed diagnosis.
• Contribute to automation and self-healing, alert tuning, auto-remediation.
