Job summary

Ford Champs in Mexico is seeking a Plant Vehicle Team Ford Champ to gain hands-on experience across Underbody and Powertrain systems, addressing customer concerns from a product standpoint during a 12-month program.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing and supplier teams, performing plant vehicle trials, analyzing data, and preparing visual reports to support leadership decisions. Fluent English and strong analytical skills required.

Qualifications

• Active student from the last 2 semesters of a BS in Engineering.
• Strong command of English (90% proficiency) required.
• Interest in electric vehicles and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality performance trends and telemetry data to identify root causes and vehicle improvements.
• Track, coordinate, and document technical issue resolutions from initiation to closure using Jira.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product development, manufacturing, and supplier teams to support rapid issue containment and engineering solutions.
• Assist engineers in executing plant vehicle trials and validating product change implementations.
• Support hands-on vehicle troubleshooting, diagnostics, and inspection processes to uphold top-tier safety and build standards.
• Prepare data-driven visual reports and quality glidepaths to support technical reviews and team leadership decision-making.
