Job summary

Ford Champs in Mexico offers a hands-on 12-month program that exposes you to multiple engineering disciplines and leadership experiences. You will bridge mechanical, electrical and systems engineering with real-world mobility challenges and contribute to hardware development under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience in DFMEA, DV testing planning, and cross-functional collaboration while building strong project management and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active student in the last 2 semesters of Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Automotive or related engineering.
• English skills at 90% (oral, reading, writing, listening).
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering Fundamentals and Design Thinking.
• Analytical problem-solving and root-cause investigation ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs and meetings, aligning with vehicle program milestones.
• Reconcile 3D CAD models with digital BOM data and track weight and packaging.
• Assist in DFMEA and tracking DV test schedules for milestones.
• Participate in cross-functional issue resolution and documentation in standard tracking platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, styling and program attribute teams to support templates and workflows.
