Corning, Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a capable supervisor to lead hourly and direct labor teams in a manufacturing environment. You will execute the plant’s operating plan and ensure adherence to procedures, safety and quality standards while coaching staff.

This role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing and 2–3 years supervisory experience, plus strong Excel/Word skills to manage documentation and performance reviews. You will collaborate with plant support groups and uphold IP protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or arts.
• Excel and Word skills (basic).
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
• 2–3 years experience with industrial labor relations (union or union-free).

Responsabilités

• Execute operating plan to achieve team objectives.
• Provide immediate supervision to subordinates to execute assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
• Review team performance with team members at regular intervals.
• Build effective relations with plant support groups.
• Conduct hourly/direct labor employee performance reviews and provide coaching as needed.
• Ensure team executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.
• Ensure the protection of Corning's IP.
• Implement and monitor training and certification plans.
• Hold reports accountable for adherence to established procedures and setpoints for process control; ensures awareness and compliance to changes.
