You will drive daily production, enable continuous improvement, mentor leaders, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and QA to meet demanding targets.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English with strong communication at all levels.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a positive work environment and motivate employees to exceed goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, supply chain, and quality assurance to resolve production challenges.
  • Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory and procurement.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes and CAPA actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement culture and accountability across the workforce.
  • Ensure safety protocols and regulatory standards are followed.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive strategies for plant performance.
  • Oversee plant budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis with finance partners.
  • Coach and develop staff for future leadership roles.

Our top-tier client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead the operations at their Juárez, Chih, Mexico facility, with a focus on the automotive industry. A leader who is self-confident professional with a strong sense of urgency, a people-oriented mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is critical in shaping the success of the manufacturing operations through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive industry manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse workforce.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) with exceptional communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with continuous improvement initiatives and a drive for operational excellence.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach.
  • Self-driven, forward-thinking, and able to critically assess performance and areas for improvement.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives, peers, and all levels of staff.
  • Strong character with a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met.
  • Drive operational improvements and efficiency by optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a positive work environment, engaging and motivating employees to meet and exceed performance goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve production challenges and streamline operations.
  • Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and managing raw material procurement with the supply chain team.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to meet or exceed customer expectations, addressing deviations with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and instill a culture of accountability and innovation across the workforce.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies for enhanced plant performance.
  • Oversee plant financials, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, working closely with the finance team to ensure profitability.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop plant staff to maximize their potential and prepare them for future leadership roles.
