Job summary

Michael Page International México Reclutamiento Especializado S.A. de C.V busca un Plant Manager para dirigir la operación de una planta automotriz en Tlaxcala, con responsabilidad total de rendimiento y seguridad.

Reportará a la dirección global y trabajará con equipos multifuncionales para alcanzar resultados de producción y calidad. El candidato ideal tiene formación en Ingeniería y al menos 3 años de experiencia dirigiendo plantas, con enfoque en costos y mejora continua, y nivel avanzado de

Qualifications

• Se requiere licenciatura en Ingeniería, Manufactura, Operaciones u otra disciplina técnica relacionada.
• Mínimo 3 años como Plant Manager con responsabilidad total de sitio.
• Experiencia en entornos automotrices (Tier1/Tier2/OEM).
• Experiencia liderando operaciones de gran escala.

Responsibilities

• Liderar la operación de fabricación y gestionar rendimiento en producción, calidad, seguridad, entrega y costo.
• Impulsar iniciativas de excelencia operativa para mejorar productividad, eficiencia y rentabilidad.
• Guiar al personal y fomentar responsabilidad, compromiso y mejora continua.
• Gestionar equipos multifuncionales (producción, calidad, ingeniería, mantenimiento, cadena de suministro, RR. HH.).
• Asegurar cumplimiento de requisitos del cliente, normas automotrices y seguridad.
• Colaborar con liderazgos internacionales para alinear operaciones locales con objetivos globales.
• Liderar transformaciones organizativas y apoyar lanzamientos de nuevos programas.
• Monitorear KPIs y mantener desempeño sostenible y satisfacción del cliente.
• Supervisar presupuestos, asignación de recursos y control de costos.

Descripción

• Lead the overall manufacturing operation and assume full responsibility for plant performance across production, quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality performance, and profitability.
• Lead and develop a workforce, fostering a environment of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and align cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive industry standards, environmental regulations, and health & safety policies.
• Partner with international leadership teams to align local operations with global business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Lead organizational transformation efforts, strengthening leadership capabilities and supporting the successful launch of new business programs.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs while ensuring sustainable performance and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee plant budgets, resource allocation, and cost-control initiatives to achieve financial targets.
• Act as the primary site leader, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution and a strong presence on the manufacturing floor.

Perfil buscado

A successful Plant Manager should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• 3 or more years of proven experience as a Plant Manager with full site responsibility.
• Strong automotive manufacturing background within Tier 1, Tier 2, or OEM environments.
• Experience leading large-scale operations.
• Demonstrated success delivering results in production, quality, safety, and cost performance.
• Experience working within multinational organizations and interacting with international stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, change management, and team development capabilities.
• Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
