Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Maintenance Manager at our plant in Apodaca, Mexico, to coordinate personnel, systems, and equipment ensuring maximum uptime and production availability.

You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manage maintenance staff, optimize spare parts inventory, and monitor environmental and safety compliance while controlling costs and improving plant KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar maintenance role.
• Experience with TPM, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and maintenance software.
• Strong initiative, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies: safety, environment, quality, and financial management.
• Oversee teams tasked with scheduling, managing, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment, tools, spare parts, and consumables in the maintenance warehouse.
• Analyze action plans and downtime costs related to maintenance.
• Coordinate quality system plans and procedures for the maintenance department.
• Manage and optimize expenses related to plant and office maintenance.
• Coordinate resources to meet environmental obligations of the maintenance department.
• Ensure department indicators align with plant objectives.
